- Umpteen near drownings in my Uncle Sonny's pool in Kailua on Oahu as a girl.
- Narrowly being missed by speeding cars when crossing the street to walk home from George Mason Elementary School.
- Malaria in Belize in 1995 that required hospitalization.
- Hurricane Mitch on San Pedro, Belize, (including losing the helm on a yacht and spinning uncontrollably in the Bay of Chetumal while escaping!)
- Going into multiple 360 spins on the highway by Williamsport, Pennsylvania during a snowstorm on my way to the Lycoming Mall to see the film "Reality Bites."
- Pneumonia in 2015!
- Car crash into a guard rail at age 16 from driving too fast!
- Bronchitis at Christmas in Sedona in 2014!
- Jaw surgery at age 16.
- Childhood Chicken Pox in the 1970s. Marvelous time playing in outside in the sun with no school!
- Food poisoning from eating fried fish being sold in buckets by local children in San Pedro, before I gave up meat forever. (F.Y.I. Fish is the number one cause of food poisoning in humans, globally! Please avoid.)
- Common Flu.
- Swimming with piranhas in the Amazon River in 1992.
- Scorpion sting at 2 a.m. on the ranch while stepping out of bed!
- Massive roll over car wreck on my birthday on Hopiland in 2006. (The driver broke her back and neck and spent the next six months in a hospital bed.)
- Riding a rickshaw in India in 1992. Exceedingly dangerous affair from start to finish. (DO NOT recommend!)
- Swept out to sea on a float by a riptide as a child on Atlantic Beach. (Rescued by brave cousin, Brainard.)
- Poisoned by eating brownies in Sedona that I didn't know were laced with marijuana. (Horrible death like nightmare!)
- Umpteen near deaths from almost getting hit by cars while crossing streets as a child in Alexandria, Virginia on my way home from school.
- Nearly getting blown up by a propane leak in the Airstream in 2015 on the ranch.
- Over 75 scuba diving adventures, including deep dives! (Very safe, actually.)
- Emergency plane landing on San Pedro, Belize when a plane engine died.
- Moped wreck in Nassau, Bahamas, 1992.
- 3 weeks stranded on a deserted Caribbean island called Moho Caye, off of Punta Gorda, Belize. (Highly recommend!)
- Being forced off a freeway in snow by reckless truck drivers in both P.A. & A.Z! (Avoid truck drivers like the plague when on highways!)
- Swimming through a shark-infested bay in the Bahamas at age 16 while fleeing a would-be rapist.
- Depression from age 12 - early twenties, while in college. Suicidal many times during that period.
- Car crash with other teens in the woods driving too fast again in Williamsport!
- Jellyfish sting from sitting on the beach where a jellyfish must have been buried right under me as a very young child. (AGONY!!! Please avoid!)
